Ewert, Marion (Marriage - 5 Aug. 1950)

Miss Marion Ewert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ewert, Marshfield, former resident of Unity, was wed to Mr. Rudy Krajcirik, Milwaukee, on Saturday morning, August 5 at 9 o’clock in St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield. The couple will reside in Milwaukee where they are employed. They honeymooned in Yellowstone National Park.

The Rev. Eugene Comisky performed the ceremony. Little Diane Ewert, sister of the bride, was the flower girl and the maid of honor and bridesmaid were Miss Carol Buffington and Miss Elaine Krjcirik of Milwaukee. Norbert Krjcirik, brother of the groom, was best man and Thomas Hoff was groomsman.

The bridal gown was white marquisette over taffeta fashioned with a fitted bodice completed with long sleeves and a bouffant skirt. Her embroidered finger-tip veil fell from a wreath of orange blossoms and she carried a colonial bouquet of roses and swansonia.

A wedding breakfast for 40 guests was held at the home of the bride’s parents, A reception, supper and dance was held in the Marshfield Armory.

Unity guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Misener, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Korntved and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Breuer.
