Pagel, Julia (10 FEB 1934)

Mr. Sigurd Leskinen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Leskinen of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Julia Pagel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Pagel, were united in marriage at the Lutheran Parsonage at Thorp on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 10th, 1934, Rev. F.H. Sprengler performing the ceremony.

They were attended by Mr. Wm. Leskinen and Miss Evelyn Pagel as best man and bridesmaid.

The bride was attired in a brown silk flat crepe gown and black slippers. The bridesmaid also wore a brown crepe dress with black slippers. The groom wore the conventional blue and the best man a wine colored suit.

After the ceremony a wedding reception was given the couple at the home of the bride’s parents, at which a six o’clock dinner was served to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Gus Leskinen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Pertnen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harper, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn and son, Mr. and Mrs. William Pagel and family, Mrs. Caroline Page, Rena Pagel, Mr. and Mrs. William Dudansky and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Pagel and son, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sachs, Walter Androski, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Nowicki and family, and Phil Nyysti.
