Karlen, Ardis J. (6 FEB 1930 - 26 JAN 1934)
Ardis Jean Karlen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Karlen of Sharpsville, Ind., died on Jan. 26th, 1934, at the home of her parents as a result of scarlet fever which laid siege to her for 9 days. Her age amounted to 3 years, 11 months and 20 days. Her remains were sent to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). Services were held in her honor at the Bogumill undertaking parlors by the Rev. F. Sprengler, on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Interment took place a the Thorp Cemetery.
She leaves to mourn her death, her father and mother and four sisters, Lorraine, Dorothy, Lois and Patricia.
