Clintsman, Madeline B. #2 (27 SEP 1906 - 15 APR 2007)

Madeline B. Clintsman, 100, Greenwood, died at the Neillsville Memorial Home, Neillsville, on Sunday, April 15, 2007. Visitation will be held at noon until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 20, at Grace United Methodist Church, Greenwood. The Rev. Dong Su Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery.

Madeline Beatrice Potts was born on Sept. 27, 1906, in Cassova, S.D., to Burdette and Alma (nee Rich) Potts. She was raised and received her education in South Dakota and Iowa. As a young lady, she worked as an operator in a telephone office for some time. She married Francis Clintsman on March 30, 1932, in Neillsville, Wis. She farmed with her husband in the Eaton Center area until his retirement 9in 1973. They then moved into greenwood and she drew up her own plans for a house they later built in town. Her husband died on Feb. 21, 1990. She resided in Greenwood until entering Neillsville Memorial Home in the early 1990s. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and enjoyed growing flowers.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, one cousin and friends.
