Persak, Charles (8 JUL 1902 - 24 JUL 1933)

Charles Persak, age 31, Gilman (Taylor Co., Wis.), died at the hospital at Chippewa Falls on Monday, July 24, 1933, as a result of complication following a ruptured appendix operation and sub-phemic abscess.

Deceased was born in the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on July 8, 1902. On Sept. 29, 1926 he was united in marriage with Elenore Vanderkamp who, with one daughter, Betty Jane, survives his untimely death; also his mother, Mrs. Mary Persak, and the following brothers: Stanley and Walter of Gilman, Leon and Anton of Milwaukee, and one sister, Julia Slupski of Thorp.

Funeral services were held at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church at Gilman on Wednesday of last week, Father W. Kolman officiating, interment taking place in Meadowbrook cemetery.

Acting pallbearers were Wilfred Dietzler, John Kapsy, Steven Kapsy, John Kondrazuk, Mike and Anton Benjalski.
