Paulson, Lois (10 JUN 1933)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church at Chippewa Falls Last Saturday morning at 7:30, when Miss Lois Paulson, daughter of Mrs. Ina Paulson, Ironwood, Mich., became the bride of Emery G. Fritsch, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fritsch of Spencer. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Fondry.

The bride was beautifully attired in a white chiffon gown, with picture hat, white slippers and hose, and corsage of bridal wreath. Her bridesmaid, Mrs. Clarence Girard of Chippewa Falls, wore a pink chiffon gown with a corsage of bridal wreath. The groom and his attendant, Clarence Girard, wore the conventional dark suits.

Following the ceremony the bride and groom drove to Dorchester where a wedding breakfast was served at the Edgar Paulson home. At 5:30 a wedding dinner was served at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Fritsche at Spencer.

The happy couple drove to Spirit Lake where they spent the week end at the cottage home of the bride’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N.G. ?. On Monday evening a wedding dance was iven at the Dorchester Opera House with a large crowd in attendance.

Neither of the young folks need an introduction to our Dorchester readers. Lois has lived her most of her life and Emery has been a instructor and athletic coach here for the past three years. Their many friends join us in wishing them much joy, happiness and prosperity in their journey through life together.

Mr. and Mrs. Fritsch will be at home to their friends after the 1st of August in the Jos. Pueschner home in the village. Mr. Fritsch has been engaged to teach in the high school for this coming year.
