Dommer, Norma (Marriage - 20 Mar. 1945)
In a double ring ceremony read at Grace Tabernacle Mar. 20, by the Rev. Leroy Pensson, Miss Norma Dommer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Dommer of Spencer, became the bride of Pvt. Leroy Fauset, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Fauset of San Luis Obispo, Calif. Mrs. Rose Walling played the wedding march and Miss Violet Peterson sang I Love You Truly, with Mrs. Helen Tigin playing the accompaniment. The bride approached the altar, decorated with bouquets of white calla lilies, on the arm of the groom’s father. She wore a long white formal wedding gown and a finger tip veil of illusion and her flowers were a shower bouquet of gardenias. Mrs. Maurice Mulliken, as matron of honor, was attired in a long pink formal frock with which she wore a pink coronet trimmed with blue forget-me-nots. She carried a long stemmed blue iris. Mr. Mulliken was best man and Harold Rodriguez ushered.
Mrs. Fauset, mother of the groom, wore a navy blue suit with white accessories and a corsage of pink carnations.
The bride was graduated from the Unity, Wis. High school and the groom graduated from the Arroyo Grande high school and attended San Luis Obispo Junior college before entering military service in September, 1942. After returning from service overseas he is now stationed at Los Angeles where the couple will reside.
