Laverenz, Albert (1 Jun. 1882 - 26 Nov. 1944)

Albert Laverenz, a well known resident of the Unity community, died at St. Joseph hospital in Marshfield Sunday afternoon of injuries suffered when he fell from a farm building at the home of his son, Albert Jr., who lives four miles west of Unity. He was born in Milwaukee June 1, 1882, and married March 6, 1915 in Chicago to Erna Stojentin, who died Jan. 15, 1941. He lived on the Unity farm for 45 years, coming to this vicinity with his parents when he was 17 years old. Surviving are his son, Albert Jr., three brothers, Otto of Milwaukee, Gus of Campbellsport and Henry of Fond du Lac; and two sisters in Milwaukee.

Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, followed by a ? o’clock service at Zion Lutheran church, the Rev. ? Hoffman, officiating Burial was made in the Colby cemetery.

Relatives and friends from away who attended the funeral services of the late Albert Laverenz, who died Nov. 26, were Henry Laverenz of Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. Gus Laverenz and Albert Waldschmidt of Campbellsport; Mrs. Otto Laverenz Sr. and Mrs. Otto Laverenz Jr. of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Kennedy and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stojentin of Chicago.
