Shirley Harlin

GRANTON -- Shirley Harlin, 83, of Grants Pass, Ore., and formerly of Granton, died on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Theda Clark Memorial Hospital in Neenah.

Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Committal services will be 3 p.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Granton.

Shirley was born on Jan. 5, 1924, in Milwaukee to Fred and Clara (Jacobsen) Monta. She graduated from Tomah High School. She married Richard C. Harlin on Nov. 11, 1961. He died on June 8, 1997.

She thrived on taking care of others, spoiled her family with pies and lefsa, and was a master with a crochet hook, but what she loved most was a good joke.

Shirley is survived by three children, Donna (Gordon) Lindley of Grants Pass, Ore., Sandra Schwab of Grants Pass, Ore., and Carl (Michelle) Harlin of Reno, Nev.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com.
