Kokaly, Darwin E. #2 (5 DEC 1924 - 23 MAR 2007)

Darwin E. Kokaly, 82, Willard, town of Hendren, died Friday, March 23, 2007, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at Family Catholic Church, Willard, on Tuesday, March 27, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Joseph Follmar officiated. Burial followed in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Daniel Boh, William Boh, Richard Feitl, Marianne Feitl, Beverly Milnar, Karen Brux, and William Kokaly.

Darwin Edward Kokaly was born on Dec. 5, 1924, to Frank and Antonia (nee Krizmanic) Kokaly, in Willard. He attended elementary school in the area and was a 1942 graduate of Greenwood High School He farmed his entire life in the town of Hendren. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the K.S.K.J. Lodge #174 and the Slovenska Druzba Club. He greatly loved farming and had a special passion for deer hunting.

He will be sadly missed by his siblings: Ann Boh, Marshfield, Rudie Kokaly, Thorp, and Carolyn Feitl, LaGrange Park, Ill.; a brother-in-law, Lowell Brown, Eau Claire; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three sisters, Sylvia Boh, Mary Kokaly, and Matilda Brown; four brothers, Frank, Jr., Francis, Anton and Martin Kokaly.

Cuddie Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
