Otten, Helen A. (4 APR 1932)

Word was received this week of the marriage of Miss Helen A. Otten, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Otten of Barton, to Alvin Bunke of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.). The ceremony took place Monday, April 4th, 1932 at 8 o’clock in the morning at the St. Mary’s Church at Barton with Rev. F. Ruhman officiating.

The bride was beautifully attired in a pale blue net gown trimmed with pink and carried a bouquet of calla lilies. She was attended by her sister, Miss Catherine Otten, who wore green flowered silk crepe and carried a bouquet of Ophelia roses and sweet peas. The groom and his attendant, Gerhard Otten, brother of the bride, were dressed in the conventional dark suits.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and dinner was served to the immediate relatives. Covers were laid for about 50 guests. The bride, a graduate of West Bend High School, has been employed for some time as clerk in the Bank of West Bend. The groom is employed by the Barton Corporation. The happy couple are making their future home at Barton.

Friends from here join us in offering hearty congratulations and best wishes for future years.
