Schultz, Irene (16 JUN 1931)

At a very pretty church wedding at Abbotsford on Tuesday, June 16th, 1931, at 1:30 at the Lutheran Church, Miss Irene Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schultz of Abbotsford, became the bride of William Kalepp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kalepp of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.). The bride’s attendants were Miss Adelyn Hoeft, Miss Marie Weideman and Miss Lucille Bunnell, the groomsmen were Harry Schultz and Clarence and Harold Kalepp, and the ceremony was conducted by Rev. Brandt of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Dorchester, Wis.

The bride was tastily attired in a gown of white satin, wore a veil, and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and ferns. Her maids were all gowned in pink crepe de Chein and carried bouquets of pink roses. The gentlemen all wore the conventional blue suits.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for ninety-five guests and in the evening a free wedding dance was held at Hinke’s Universal Hall.

William is a Dorchester boy, popular with his many friends, and Irene is equally well liked by all who know her, and we predict for them a happy life together.

Mr. and Mrs. Kalepp left yesterday morning for a wedding trip to Green Bay. They will be at home to their many friends after July 1st, at the farm home of the bride’s parents, near Abbotsford, Wis.

The out of town guests who were present for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sauter of Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. A. Messer of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hermanson and daughter of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hermanson and daughter, Mrs. Tillie Georgas and family of Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Drost and family of Medford, and Mrs. Mary Lueddecke of Athens.

We join the host of friends in wishing them all health, wealth and happiness for a long life together.
