Kren, Irene (Marriage - 9 Nov. 1941)

Mrs. Frank Kren and son, Harold, Levis, left last week for Milwaukee to attend the wedding of their daughter and sister, Miss Irene Kren, to Harold Sager, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sager, Milwaukee.

The ceremony was performed by the pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church of that city in the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Arthur Sager, on Sunday, November 9. The single ring ceremony was used.

They were attended by a young man and a woman who are friends and schoolmates of the groom. The bride was attired in a light blue street dress and wore a shoulder corsage. Her mother wore a black gown trimmed with gold buttons.

Mrs. Sager’s home was decorated in pink and white, a reception following the ceremony. Only the immediate relatives and friends were present.

Mrs. Sager was graduated from the Neillsville High School in 1938. She worked for one year in the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Hublng in this city before going to Milwaukee where she has since been employed. The groom is a pattern maker in a foundry in Milwaukee.

The bride will continue in her present situation until June after which the couple will begin housekeeping.

Relatives of the bride who attended besides her mother and brother were her grandfather, Carl Karger, Milwaukee, and an uncle, Frank Karger, Minneapolis.
