Severson, Vera A. (19 MAR 1944)

A pretty wedding took place at Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) at the Congregational Parsonage, Sunday afternoon at one o’clock March 19, 1944. Rev. G.W. Longenecker tied the nuptial knot when Miss Vera Anna Severson became the bride of Harold Heck.

Miss Severson is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Severson of the Town of Beaver, and Mr. Heck is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Heck of the town of Eaton.

The bride wore a lovely floor length dress with a veil and silver slippers and accessories. The bridesmaid, Miss Opal Hendrickson, wore yellow floor length dress and both girls wore red roses.

The groom wore blue and was attended by his twin brother, Harvey, who wore brown, both boys wore carnation boutonnieres.

The groom is employed on a farm near Neillsville, Wis.

A wedding dinner was served at the Eli Heck home at 7 o’clock to the immediate families and a charivari was held in the evening.

The bride is a graduate of the Greenwood High School with the class of 1943.

The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for many years of happy married life.
