William Schultz, aged 85, a pioneer resident of the Cadott community, passed away in the home of his son, Alvin, in the town of Sigel at three o’clock Monday morning after an extended illness cause by the general infirmities of his advanced age. Mr. Schultz is the father of Mrs. Agnes Spaeth of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) and has spent much of the past two years here.

Besides his wife, Mr. Schultz was preceded in death by two children who died in infancy. He is survived by three daughters and two sons, Mrs. John Rollins of Spencer, Mrs. Agnes Spaeth of Owen, Mrs. Ernest Munroe and August and Alvin Schultz, all of Sigel. Eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Those from here who attended the funeral were Mrs. and Mrs. Elmer King, Mrs. Roy Graham and daughter, Doris, Lionel Legault, Mrs. James Haire, Mrs. D.R. Richardson, Mrs. Chris Bacon and Mrs. Agnes Spaeth.
