Kovaloski, Helen (25 AUG 1936)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the Holy Rosary Church at Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) on Tuesday morning, Aug. 25th, at 8:30 o’clock, when Miss Helen Kovaloski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kovaloski, became the bride of frank Cieslik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cieslik of Withee. Father John Novak performed the ceremony.

The bride was dressed in a gown of white satin with train and a long white veil. Her bouquet consisted of roses. The maid of honor, Stella Kovaloski, wore a dress of pink silk taffeta with hat to match and carried a bouquet of pink roses and gladioli. The bridesmaid, Marie Radowitz, was gowned in blue silk taffeta with hat to match. Her flowers were the same as the maid of honor.

The groom was attended by John Kovaloski, Jr., and Louie Slock. The bride was given away by her father.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. Mrs. Cieslik is a graduate of the local high school for and the past few years has been employed here at the telephone office. Mr. Cieslik is a graduate of the teachers college at Stevens Point and is now employed as a teacher at Spencer.

The couple left Wednesday morning for a short wedding tour. Their many friends here wish them a great deal of success in their wedded life.
