Gruner, Doris (5 APR 1936)

Miss Doris Gruner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Gruner, Cadott, and V.E. Medland, Alma, were married last Sunday at the residence of Rev. E.E. Midtlein at Stanley. The couple were attended by the bride’s brother and sister, Harry and Alice Gruner.

The bride wore lilac colored chiffon with hat to correspond and accessories of grey, with a shoulder corsage of gardenias. The bridesmaid wore shell pink chiffon with hat and accessories to match and a shoulder corsage of roses.

Mr. and Mrs. Medland will make their home in Stanley where the groom will open a jewelry store and where the bride operates a beauty parlor.

The bride is well know in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), having at one time operated the beauty parlor in the basement of the Woodland Hotel.
