Lehouillier, Donald L. (April 19, 1930 - January 5, 2007)

Donald L. Lehouillier, age 76, of Neillsville and Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on January 5, 2007, in Dade City, FL.

Don was born April 19, 1930 to Adolph and Delima (Gardner) Lehouillier in Escanaba, MI. He was united in marriage to Jean (Betty) Gascon on April 7, 1951 in Schaefer, MI. Don and his family moved to Oak Creek, WI in 1966, where he worked for 20 years for the Ladish Company and as a bus driver for The Best Way School Bus Company. In 1993, Don and Betty moved to Neillsville where they retired. They have been wintering in Zephyrhills for the past 13 years. Don was a member of the Eagles Club and the Betmar Golf Club in Zephyrhills. He enjoyed playing cards, golfing, fishing and hunting with his sons. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville and also attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zephyrhills.

Don is survived by his wife, Jean (Betty) Lehouillier, of Neillsville and Zephyrhills; two daughters, Jean (Joe Myotte) Julga, of Sault St. Marie, MI; and Donna (Gerry) LaValley, of Neillsville; three sons, James (Jean) Lehouillier, of Waukesha, WI; Thomas (Kim) Lehouillier, of Mukwonago, WI; and Richard (Kellie) Lehouillier, of Merrillan. He is further survived by 11 grandchildren, Phillip, Jessica, David, Melanie (Mario), Emily, Racquel, Jared, Christopher, Nicholas, Kelly, Amber and one great grandchild Cassandra. He is also survived by two brothers, Robert Lehouillier, of Mesa AZ; and Allen (Delores) Lehouillier, of Bark River, MI; a sister, Mary Anne (Jude) Carriere, of Marquette, MI; and a sister-in-law, Helen Lehouillier, of Zephyrhills.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Francis Lehouillier; and a sister-in-law, Nona Lehouillier.

A memorial service will be Friday January 26, 2007 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville, with the Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace, as celebrant. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. with services to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Neillsville, Wis.
