Blaubach, Eleanora (14 FEB 1938)

Now at home to friends on a farm near Dorchester are Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Schade, whose marriage took place at 2:30 o’clock Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran church, Curtiss, with the Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating.

The bride, the former Eleanora Blaubach, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Blaubach, Curtiss, Wis. The groom Adelbert Schade (better known to his friends as "Bill") is the son of Mrs. Fred Bredlau, Loyal.

For her wedding the bride wore a white satin gown, designed with a train, a shirred neckline, and a short jacket with puffed sleeves, Queen Elizabeth collar, and a gold rhinestone brooch. Her long veil of embroidered lace fell in train from a crowned effect headdress trimmed with seed pearls and lilies. She carried a large bouquet of American beauty roses, white carnations and ferns.

Miss Esther Breadlau, Loyal, cousin of the bridegroom, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a rose colored gown of ankle length. White slippers, a white flowered headband, and a shoulder corsage of pink roses and white carnations, and sweet peas completed her ensemble.

Miss Dorothy Borchardt, Edgar, who attended as maid of honor, was attired in an ankle length gown of light blue taffeta and wore white slippers, a silver headband, and a shoulder corsage of pink and yellow roses, white carnations, and sweet peas.

The bridegroom was attended by his brothers, Herman Schade, Loyal, and Waldemar Schade, Wausau. Ushers were Donald Blaubach, Curtiss, brother of the bride, and Richard Kuse, Colby, a cousin.

Alice Kuse, cousin of the bride, carried the bridal veil. She wore a frock of blue taffeta and a rose in her hair.

Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served to 75 guests at the home of the bride’s parents. Attractive decorations of white, blue and rose were carried out at the residence.

In the evening a wedding dance was given at the Curtiss town hall for relatives and friends.Cor.
