Wallace F. Lukas, age 72, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007.

Wally was born to Max and Mary Lukas, in Neillsville, Wis. He attended UW-Eau Claire and graduated from UW-Madison. He was a veteran of the US Army and was retired from A. O. Smith. He thoroughly enjoyed a second career as a consultant to Milwaukee Public Schools for 14 years.

Wally was the beloved husband of Judy (nee Van Veghel); A wonderful father to Laura (Frank) Longabucco, Peggy Lukas, and Joe (Tracey) Lukas; Proud Papa to his three grandchildren, Mia and Sam Longabucco, and Jordan Lukas; Favorite brother of Alice (James) McGrew; Cherished brother-in-law to Jim (Lois) Van Veghel and Bob (Pat) Van Veghel; Further survived by many special people, relatives, friends, pastors and doctors, especially Dr. Donald Roach.

Memorial services were held Saturday January 13, 2007 at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
