Timm, Delilah Elsie (February 21, 1923 - December 27, 2006)

Delilah E. Timm, age 83, of Thorp, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, Wis.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Welch officiating. Delilah’s sons served as pallbearers.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 from 12:00 noon until time of service at the Thorp Funeral Home.

Delilah Elsie Meyer was born on February 21, 1923 in The Town of Reseburg, rural Thorp, to Arthur and Isabelle (Frese) Meyer and was educated at area schools. She was united in marriage to Ernest Timm on December 23, 1952 in Ely, MN. In 1967, they moved to the Gilman area and lived there until moving to Thorp in 1985. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and working in her flower gardens. Delilah moved to the Clark County Health Care Center in 2003 where she resided until her death.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest of Thorp; six sons: Colin (Barbara) of Saginaw, MI, Robert (Diane) of Norman, OK, Rodney and Frances both of Minneapolis, MN, Keith (Monica) of Marshfield, WI, and Ken (Cindy) of Delafield, WI. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers: Alfred (Patty) Meyer of Gilman, WI, and George (Geraldine) Meyer of Minot, ND; five sisters: Ellen Derks of Chippewa Falls, WI, Arlene Derks of Stanley, WI, Evelyn (Allen) Kowalczyk of Gilman, WI, Bernadine (Jim) Kelley of East Troy, WI, and Edna Duce of St. Louis, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers: Elroy Meyer, Emil Meyer, and Todd Meyer.

Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
