Sanford, Adelebert (13 SEP 1862 - 22 NOV 1945)

Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) - Funeral services for Adelbert M. Sanford, 81, who died Thursday, Nov. 22, 1945, at Mondovi Clinic Hospital, were held at the Schiller Funeral Home, Greenwood, Saturday afternoon, Nov. 24. The Rev. Alex J. Abbott officiated. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

During the service Ilene and Irene Abbott, accompanied by Mrs. John Meng, sang "Abide With Me," "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," and "Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me."

Pallbearers were John Arends, H.R. Baird, Fred Drew, George Speich, and William Bartelt.

Mr. Sanford was born in Pennsylvania Sept. 13, 1862, and was married to Miss Ella J. Tenney of Westboro. She preceded him in death several years ago.

For the past four years Mr. Sanford made his home with his sister, Mrs. S.K. Robinson, at Mondovi. Surviving are his sister and several nieces and nephews.
