Miss Dolores R. Kitzhaber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Kitzhaber, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was married July 1 to Calvin K. Cornwell, Owen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cornwell, Prentice. The Nuptial High Mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood, by the Rev. J.J. Novak.

The maid of honor was Miss Peggy Kitzhaber, Greenwood, sister of the bride; Bernard Kitzhaber, brother of the bride, was best man. Other attendants of the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Julius Klapatauskus, Greenwood, sister and brother-in-law of the groom.

The bride’s gown was styled with a white satin bodice, featuring a peplum and a ninon yoke, and a skirt with train. She wore a headdress of orange blossoms with a fingertip veil. And carried a shower bouquet of white roses.

The maid of honor wore a green net gown with a sweetheart bonnet and carried a bouquet of red roses. The bridesmaid’s dress was pink net, and she carried a similar bouquet.

A wedding breakfast was served by the bride’s sister, Mrs. Geneva Stiefvater, with dinner being served at the home of the bride’s parents. A dance was given at Merry Ol’ Gardens.

Mr. and Mrs. Cornwell are now at home to their friends on route 1, Owen, where Mr. Cornwell is engaged in farming. They spent their honeymoon in southern Wisconsin. Mr. Cornwell served two years in the Marine Corps.
