S. W. Pine Valley

Andrew Wrightman, Clarence Steimke, Joe and Ted Kopp and Rufus and Richard Karl spent last Tuesday evening at the Albert Mohr home.

The Grossaint family went to Marshfield Thursday to attend the funeral of Mrs. John Rodgers. Mrs. Rodgers was Mr. Grossaint’s sister. Miss Helen Grossaint of St. Paul was here also.

Mr. and Mrs. Byno Lloyd gave a party for their friends Saturday night in honor the birthdays of Mrs. Lloyd and Miss Doris.

The Karl and Mohr boys and Harold Embke of York went out to the ski slide near Wildcat mound Sunday. Only two of them had the courage to try it out. They said it was pretty rough going, and the place ought to be called suicide hill, as it never was finished off for real skiing.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Drescher and Jerry visited at the Karl home Sunday afternoon.

Miss Ruby Mohr has been on the sick list.

Albert Mohr had the wood sawers last week.
