Tilman Erickson

Tilman R. Erickson, 72, of Milwaukee, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m., Thursday at Prasser-Kleczka Bay View Chapel, 3275 S. Howell Ave.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3515 E. Van Norman Ave., Cudahy. Visitation at the church will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Interment will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Town of Grant Cemetery, Granton.

He was born May 20, 1934, in the town of Lynn. Tilman retired as a field superintendent who supervised the construction of buildings and bridges and was an integral part of the construction of the original Marquette Interchange. More recently he worked at the Milwaukee Metro Auto Auction.

He was a faithful member of his church, enjoyed his church family and the missionary projects in Jamaica and Honduras that he was involved with.

Beloved husband of the late Marcia I. Erickson. Loving father of Teresa (Ernest) Zwicke and Timothy (Lisa) Erickson. Dear grandfather of Gary and David Zwicke, Kathryn, Andrew, Alexander and Matthew Erickson. Cherished brother of Evelyn Porter, Richard Erickson and Alice Schlinsog. Dearest friend of Elaine Trimberger. Tilman also is survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church.
