Kiraly, Velma Jane (April 28, 1940 - March 15, 2005)

Velma J. Kiraly, age 64, of Chicago, IL (formerly of Thorp) passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2005 in Chicago.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Addison Street Community Church; interment was in St. Lukes Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, March 18, 2005 at Casey Laskowski and Sons Funeral Home from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Velma Jane Kiraly was born April 28, 1940 at Stanley. She attended and graduated from Stanley High School in 1958. She was a long time supporter and member of the Girl Scouts of Chicago, Boy Scouts of America, and Independent Order of Foresters, and she belonged to Good Sam Camping Club.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Kiraly, Chicago; daughter, Debra Malinowski, Chicago; sons: David (Rachel) Malinowski, Auburndale; Douglas Malinowski of Ohio; and daughter, Robin Ojeda, Chicago; one brother, George (Elaine) Starks, Thorp; three sisters: Vera Budzinski, Thorp; Ruth (John) Sommer, Stevens Point; and Ruby (Bruce) Jaecks, Marathon; sister-in-laws: Nancy(Joe) Lazzara, Arizona; Arlene (Phil) Palomino, Chicago; and Janice and Joan Kiraly, Chicago; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Joan) Kiraly, Appleton; mother-in-law, Agnes Kiraly of Thorp; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends whose lives she has touched over her 64 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Iola Starks; father-in-law, Louis Kiraly, and brother-in-law, Eugene Budzinski.
