JOE MILLER RITES CONDUCTED MONDAY

Funeral services for Joe Miller who died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Thursday evening of pulmonary embolism, following an appendix operation, were held at St. Anthony's Church, Loyal, Monday morning with burial following in the parish cemetery. Rev. A. J. Aurit officiated

Joe, a very loving and kind husband and father, and a most likable friend and neighbor was born in Loyal Nov. 30, 1913. He was left without a mother at the age of four. From then on he was raised by his uncles Max and Alvin Miller, assisted by his aunts Molly and Clara.

Mr. Miller was united in Holy Matrimony to Rosalind Rueth of Loyal, Oct. 12, 1931. Their short but happy marriage life was blessed with three sons, Raymond, Norman and Arnold. Besides his wife and three sons he leaves to mourn his loss, his father Ed. Miller, one brother Eddie, a step-mother and two half sisters, Elaine and Helen all of Marshfield. Also a large number relatives and friends.

Pall bearers were James Bertz, Joe Esselman, Tony Linder, Ted Helpin, John Bertz and Hugo Stutte. Those in charge of the floral tributes were Viola Walters, Margaret Lindner, Florence Stutte, Cecelia Bertz, Jean Helpin, Phyllis Esselman, Hedwig Bertz and Frances Brown.

Those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller and family of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson and family of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Martenik of Fort Atkinson, Iowa, Mrs. McIntyre of Neil, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Schlinger of Greenwood, Miss Frona Rueth and Mrs. Martha Zenz of Cadott, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lyle of Chile.
