Danielewicz, Nicole Marie (February 18, 1990 - September 15, 2004)

Nicole M. Danielewicz, age 14, of Thorp, died in the emergency room of Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at 9:45 p.m.

Funeral services for Nicole were held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanley with Reverend Alice L. Hamm and Reverend William Stewart officiating. Burial followed in St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Thorp. Pallbearers were Carrie, and Nancy Danielewicz, Cory and Nathan Somson, Craig Schulz, Tara and Kristin Danielewicz. Honorary Pallbearers were Andrea and Arica Ederer, Brock Polnaszek, Brooke Haas and Katie Martini.

Visitation was held at the Thorp Funeral Home on Sunday, September 19, 2004 from 4-8 p.m. and again at church on Monday from 10:00 until time of services.

Nicole Marie Danielewicz was born on February 18, 1990, in Stanley, the daughter of Donald B. and Pamela (Holverson) Danielewicz. She attended school in Thorp and was currently a freshman at Thorp High School. She was involved in Student Council, Young Astronauts, Forensics, Girl Scouts and the school choir. Nicole loved sports, fishing and golfing with her Papa. She most loved riding horse with her best friends. She spent many hours on the computer and participating in the Borderline Rebels 4-H group. Her favorite day was "family day" every Sunday. Nicole had many, many friends and she always worried about them first. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanley where she was baptized on April 1, 1990 and would have been confirmed next year. Her future was filled with dreams of becoming a veterinarian and a singer.

She will be sadly missed by her parents: Donald and Pamela Danielewicz of Thorp, her paternal grandmother Manetta Danielewicz and her maternal grandparents Ron and Shirley Holverson of Stanley. She is further survived by her aunts: Victoria DeVan of Boise, Idaho; Sue (Dan) Somson of New Richmond, WI; Melissa (Randy) Maltbey of Janesville, WI; Janet (Charles) Schulz of Greenville, WI; Debbie Danielewicz of Wausau, WI; and Debbie (Paul) Swanson of Rockton, IL; uncles: Richard Danielewicz of Schofield and Dale (Celine) Danielewicz of Wausau, WI; and cousins: Zachary and Lauren DeVan; Nathan and Cory Somson; Craig and Joshua Schulz; Jarrod, Jonathon and Jessica Danielewicz; Jennifer, Johanna, Justin, Jacob and Jocelyn Swanson; Leah, Carrie, Julie and Nancy Danielewicz and Tricia, Kristin and Tara Danielewicz.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Zigmund Danielewicz in April of 2000; her uncles: Dennis and Gregory Danielewicz and cousins: Kelly DeVan and Chad Danielewicz.

Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
