Mrs. Ida Fowler Dead

News of the death of Mrs. Ida M. Fowler was received here last Sunday morning. In an obituary sent the the request of Mrs. Fowler, by a friend, Mrs. Ethel L. Pittinger.

Ida May Cole was born June 16, 1872 in Dodge county, Wisconsin and passed away at her home near Bellevue, Mich.; May 27,1931 lacking 19 days of being 59 years of age. She was the daughter of William and Duette Cole, and moved with her parents when one year old to Humbird, Wis; After a year they went to Greenwood, and later to a farm near Greenwood where she lived until fourteen years of age, then moving back to Humbird, Oct 19, 1908. They continued to reside at Humbird until the spring of 1927, when they moved to Michigan. Two brothers, James and Leonard Cole, and an aunt, Mrs. Ellen Cole, of Humbird, and a number of other relatives survive. The deceased will be missed by the many friends she has made during her few years in Kalaino township.

Mr. Fowler passed away March 4, 1931.

Following item is taken from the Bellevue, Mich. Gazette:

Mrs. Ida M. Fowler well known resident of Kalamo township, passed away last week Wednesday at her home following an attack of pneumonia. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the home with the Rev. G. D. Chase, pastor of the Bellevue-Kaiamo M. E. churches, officiating. Interment was made in the Kaiamo cemetery.
