Hall, Mabel (Marriage - 5 Sept. 1907)

Miss Mabel Hall, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Davis K. Hall and Rev. G. W. Austin were united in the bonds of holy matrimony at the home of the brides’ parents in this village, Thursday forenoon, September 5th, the ceremony was performed by Presiding Elder Straw of Eau Claire.

There were present only relatives of the bride and groom and a few very intimate friends.

The bride was attended by Misses Mabel Cook and Myrtle Klein, the groom bing attended by Messrs. M. Matteson and H. R. Zell. After the ceremony the company were regarded with a sumptuous wedding feast.

The bride is a most estimable young lady, attractive in appearance and of a cheerful and pleasant disposition. She has a large acquaintance in Unity and vicinity all of whom are admirers of her splendid womanly character. She has lived here practically all her life and during the past few years has been the obliging assistant at the post office.

The groom has been pastor of the M. E. Church here and at Colby for the past year, during which time by his earnest and devoted work and pleasant personality, he has formed a lasting friendship with his congregation and the people of the community in general.

Mr. and Mrs. Austin expect to leave next week for the state of New York where they will spend their honeymoon in the vicinity of the "Dreamy Hudson". They expect to be absent about a month when they will be at home at the M. E. parsonage at Colby.

The Register echo the sentiment of their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes to the young couple in the new relations.
