Surprised Their Friends

The many friends of Miss Lulu Pettet and Mr. William Creed were taken completely by surprise this week when announcements were sent out announcing their marriage which occurred at Chippewa Falls Sunday Nov 20th 1904. The Rev A. S. Gilbert officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Pettet, she was born and has lived here all her life and has a host of friends who hold her in high esteem.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Creed and is a prominent young business man of this place being one of the firm of Creed Brothers doing a large retail business.

The young couple certainly have the best wished of their large circle of acquaintences.
