Weiland, Adelina P.C. (16 AUG 1914 - 14 MAR 1937)

Mrs. Adelina Paulina Carolina Weiland born Schade, the only daughter of Mrs. Fred Bredlau was born in Lincoln County, Merrill, Wis., on the 16th day of August, 1914, and died March 14, 1937 Sunday morning at 5 o’clock. She reached the age of 22 years, 6 months and 28 days. She was baptized by Rev. Schliepsieg. Later she attended the Parochial school.

Her father, Herman Schade, died January 28, 1920. At the age of 5 years she came to Clark County with her mother and step-father, Fred Bredlau. On the 19th day of May she was confirmed in the Salem’s Lutheran Church at Veefkind by Rev. August Draeger. In the year 1933 on the 26th of August she was married to Emil Weiland. She leaves to mourn her husband, her two small children, Ronald and Shirley Mae, her mother and father, her twin brother (Adelbert) Edelhardt Waldemar Herman Schade and one half brother David Bredleau all at home. She also leaves many other relatives.

Funeral services were held March 17th, from the Blaine S. Swarthout funeral home and from the Spencer Lutheran Church. Burial took place in the Spencer Lutheran cemetery, Rev. A. C. Stapel officiating.

Those in charge of flowers were Mrs. Earl Cramer, Mrs. Erwin Rindfleich, Mrs. John Miller, Mrs. Walter Newman, Mrs. Art Schwandtes and Mrs. Harold Grippentroch.

Pall bearers were Mr. Earl Cramer, Mr. Edwin Rindfleich, Mr. John Miller, Mr. Walter Newman, Mr. Art Schwantes and Mr. Harold Grippentroch.
