Mattson, Lillian (25 SEP 1930)

A quiet wedding was solemnized on Thursday of last week, when Miss Lillian Mattson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Mattson of Waukegan, Ill., became the bride of Mr. Walter Siegel, son of Mrs. Mary Seigel of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.).

Miss Mattson, up until about a month ago, resided in this city, with her parents, her father at that time being a member of the firm of Mattson & Haaya, grocers of the city, and she was employed in the store as sales lady. She is a likeable young lady, and in her position won for herself a large acquaintance, and made many friends, all of whom wish for her a happy married life.

Mr. Seigel is the operator of the Sweet Shop, and is a young man with a promising future, having came to Owen from Medford about three years ago. He at first was associated with his mother in the business.

After a visit at Chicago and Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Seigel returned to this city, and now are making preparations to keep house in the rooms over the R.C. Graham electrical shop. They have the well wishes of their numerous friends.
