A very pretty wedding took place Saturday, June 26th, 1937 at 2 o’clock at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, when Miss Adeline Litka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Litka, town of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) and Mr. Paul Otto, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Otto town of Beaver (Clark Co.) were united in marriage.

Cut flowers and ferns decorated the church were Rev. H.F. Leschendsky read the service before a large number of relatives and friends.

Given away by her father, the bride looked charming in her gown of white satin and lace. She wore a tulle veil edged in lace and carried a shower bouquet.

Miss La Verna Otto, sister of the groom, acting as maid of honor, wore a yellow satin frock and bandeau to match. Her other attendants were Miss Anita Kletzein and Mrs. Arnold Pieper, sister of the groom, who wore nile green and peach satin frocks and bandeaus to match. All carried bouquets.

Kathleen and Katherine Komis and Eileen Bauer, all nieces of the bride, served as flower girls and wore blue taffeta dresses and blue headbands, carrying baskets of flowers.

Duane Komis, nephew of the bride, carried the rings on a white satin pillow. He was dressed in blue and white.

The groom wore navy blue and was attended by Orvin and Reuben Litka, brothers of the bride, and Arnold Pieper.

The Misses Ora Stowe and Marcella Schoengrund, attired in white, acted as ushers.

Cut flowers and colorful streamers decorated the Litka home where supper was served to about 220 guests.

The waitresses, all in white, were the Misses Winifred Newman, Dorothy Duell, Virginia Dobbe, Lucille Dorn, Marvin Greve and Anita Hohl.

A free wedding dance was given in the evening at the Weidenhoeft park at Colby.

The couple spent a week at the Dells, Kohler and other southern points.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Pickruhn and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Fravert of here, attended the wedding. Miss Litka is a niece of the Pickruhn’s.
