Another card which was sent to Roxie Chase

The post card above was sent from Neillsville, Wis. to Rt. 3 Neillsville, Wisconsin.  So both the author and the receiver were area residents.

Card #1 was sent to (Card #1) Mrs. S. H. Chase of Rt. 3, Neillsville, Wis., 7  Dec. ?

You won't have to come until Saturday because we are not coming home this week. Ollie can come and stay for a while with us. We are not sure yet whether Essie Bender will stay with us or not. But if she does she probably will not be here until after Xmas. Ollie will have to bring a cot & bedding and a plate, cup, saucer, knife, and fork. L.C.

Card #2 is addressed to Miss Roxie Chase at the same address, 12 Dec ?

Dear Roxie: If J comes down tell him to be sure & bring some dry wood and kindling. The wood Merril brot is nearly all to large and green. We can't make the fire go. Bring some potatoes too. I have been sick, but feel better today. L.C.
