Babcock, Dean Collins Miller (21 Sept. 1857 - 25 May 1938)

Dean Collins Miller Babcock, aged 80 years, 8 months and 4 days, died Wednesday afternoon at Owen, having suffered a stroke of paralysis.

Mr. Babcock was born at Easton, Adams County, Wisconsin, Sept. 21, 1857, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Derrick Babcock.

He was married to Mary Tyler, who preceded him in death. Deceased made his home in Owen for the past 25 years.

He leaves one daughter, Vivian (Mrs. Chas. Davis) of Elroy, and a son, Roland, of Oklahoma, and a sister, Mrs. Angie Waterman of Granton.

The funeral was held at the Schiller Funeral Home Saturday, May 28, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. Interment was made in the Levis Cemetery.
