The rural free delivery route No.1 recently established here will start Wednesday noon Oct 1. The route as established is as follows: Commencing at the post office in the village (Unity) thence going west to Domer's corner, thence north to town line, thence west to Molle's corner, thence south to Matteson's corner, thence east to Binning's corner, thence south to Lydikson's corner, thence east to Martin's corner, thence north to Vaughan's corner,thence east to Flink's corner, thence next to village.

The route as described will cover a distance of 20 miles. The roads are good and in good weather the trip will consume about 3 hours. There are about 130 patrons to be served although not over half of those will be ready by the 1st.

Ralph Vaughan, who successfully passed the civil service examination, has been appointed carrier and will give the patrons excellent service.
