Married at St. Mary’s Church by Rev. H.J. Artmann, Thursday morning, June 15th, 1916, Arthur Burmeister, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Burmeister of Dysart, Ia., to Agnes Schuh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schuh of the town of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.).

The attendants were Miss Carolyn, sister of the bride, and Isadore Firnstahl, The church was prettily decorated with flowing streamers of pale blue and white, the Sodality colors.

The bride was attired in a dainty gown of white chiffon taffeta and georgette crepe. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. Miss Carolyn wore a pale blue silk crepe de chine and carried pink and white carnations.

The couple departed on the 8:30 train for Platteville, where they expect to spend a short time visiting relatives, after which they will leave for Dysart, where they plan on making their future home.
