Linzmeier, Louise (2 Nov. 1926 - 10 Sept. 2005)

Louise Linzmeier, 78, of 840 17th St. N., Wisconsin Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev. Andrew Karoblis will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.

Louise was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Granton to Joseph and Katheryn (Paun) Matonich. She married Harold Linzmeier on Nov. 21, 1945 in Blenker. He died March 11, 1985.

Louise enjoyed bowling, playing cards, taking care of her yard and flower garden and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by three children, Donna Johnson, Bloomington, Minn., Dale (Diane) Linzmeier, Wisconsin Rapids and Keith Linzmeier, Wisconsin Rapids; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Holly, Andrea and Nicole; three great-grandchildren, Mia, Anthony, Abigale and Kylee; four sisters, Ann Rollins, Marshfield; Mary Shimkus, Wisconsin Rapids, Katheryn Enfield, Wisconsin Rapids and Helen (Paul) Arnold, Wisconsin Rapids; and one sister-in-law, Veronica Matonich, Black River Falls.

Her husband; parents; one infant grandson; three brothers, Pete, Milan and John Matonich; and one sister, Rose Speller, preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ritchay Funeral Home. A parish prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
