Tepoorten, Lena (4 APR 1892 - 6 JUN 1915)

Miss Lena Tepoorten died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Tepoorten, in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., at 8:30 Sunday morning, June 6th, 1915, of tuberculosis of the lungs, aged 23 years, 2 months and two days.

Lena was born in the town of Colby April 4th, 1892, and has since her birth, resided here with her parents. She was a bright, intelligent girl and enjoyed good health until about two and one-half years ago, when she contracted the disease which caused her death. The past two months she was confined to the house. Besides her parents, she leaves two sisters, Angie and Lizzie, and one brother, Joe, all living at home, to mourn the death of a loving daughter and sister.

The funeral was held from St. Mary’s Church, Wednesday morning, at 10 o’clock, conducted by Rev. H.J. Artmann.
