Dorothy Fowler

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. -- Dorothy M. Fowler, 85, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006, at Gulfside Regional Hospice, Dade City, Florida.

She was born April 21, 1921, in Pierre, South Dakota. Mrs. Fowler had lived in Florida the past year, moving from Neillsville, and previously lived in Florida for four or five years. She had lived in Milwaukee most of her adult life. She had been a waitress and a school custodian for Neillsville schools. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Neillsville, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chester "Chet" Fowler; a daughter, Wendy Mae Stebnitz; sister, Myrtle Kastner; and brother, Clarence Whitfield.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen Jensen of Wesley Chapel; and a son, Bruce Stebnitz of Sumner, Wash.; two sisters, Helen Morrey of Friendship, and Florence Roeglin of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside inurnment service will take place at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at the Neillsville Cemetery, with the Rev. Timothy Biebert of St. Johns Lutheran Church officiating.
