Schuster, Mary A. (4 MAR 1904 - 21 APR 1934)

Mrs. Arthur Schuster died at the Marshfield Hospital Saturday evening, April 21st as the result of an appendicitis operation.

Mary Alys Erickson was born in Two Harbors, Minn., March 4th, 1904 and at the time of her death was 30 years, 1 month and 18 days.

She was married to Arthur Schuster at Neillsville July 2, 1921 and since her marriage had made her home in this vicinity until in the fall of 1932 with her husband and family moved to their present home near Chili. She leaves to mourn her early departure her husband, two children Charles and Janet, two sons Arthur and Orville dieing in infancy; her father, Mr. Thomas Erickson, brother Earl Erickson both of Siren, Wis., and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Martinson Superior, Wis., besides other relatives and a large circle of friends.

Alys had a kind and sympathetic nature, a pleasant and sunny disposition that endeared her to all who knew her. As a neighbor she was courteous and obliging.

The funeral services were held at her home at 8:30 o’clock Wednesday morning and from there to the St. Stephen’s Catholic Church at Chili, Wis. Father Joseph Willitzer, Bakerville officiated with interment in the family lot at Chili.

Pall bearers were Harry Cole, Herman Schmidtke, Alvin Anderson, Frank Wehling, Arthur Cammers, Gust Wehling.

Those in charge of the flowers were Adeline Wehling, Vila Wehling, Marion Cole and Goldie Smith.

Other relatives from away were Mr. Morgan Martinson and Mrs., John Erickson, Superior, Wis.
