Weichers, Sandra (1 Jan. 1942 - 4 June 2006)

LOYAL -- Sandra Wiechers**, 64, Loyal, formerly of the Owen-Withee area, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, at her Loyal residence.

Funeral services for Sandra will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2006, at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, Wis. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at the Maurina Funeral Home.

Sandra Mengel, daughter of Rudolph and Agnes (Anderson) Mengel, was born in Withee on Jan. 1, 1942. Sandra and Gunther John Wiechers were united in marriage on Feb. 4, 1960, in Owen, Wis. Gunther passed away May 22, 1990.

A homemaker, Sandra enjoyed crafting, silk flower arranging, watching the birds and her grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her children, Dawn (Jesse) Pernsteiner, Turlock, Calif., Henry (Sally) Wiechers, Loyal, Alice (Jeff) Pernsteiner, Loyal, Mark Wiechers, Neillsville, Jennifer (Aaron) Gilbert, Loyal; a sister, Lois (Lloyd) Clarkson, Dorchester; brothers, Robert (Cheryl) Mengel, Withee, Ken (Patricia) Mengel, Withee; and 13 grandchildren.
