Bichler, Gertrude (28 NOV 1933)

Miss Gertrude Bichler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bichler of Loyal, became the bride of Alexander Davel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Davel, also of Loyal at a nuptial service solemnized Tuesday morning, November 28th, at 9 o’clock, by Father A. J. Aurit in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal.

A gown of egg shell satin and velvet fashioned with a lace cape and hat to match was worn by the bride. She carried a shower bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums and baby’s breath. Miss Catherine Lamont, as maid of honor, was dressed in a brown crepe ensemble with accessories to match and carried a bouquet of yellow orchids and pompoms. Miss Lorraine Riplinger as bridesmaid was attired in a lavender crepe ensemble with accessories matching. The groom’s attendants were the bride’s two brothers, Joseph and Peter Bichler.

After the ceremony a reception was held for immediate friends and relatives and dinner and supper were served. Covers were laid for 40. House decorations were yellow, pink and white streamers. Among those from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bichler, Marathon City, and Mrs. Otto Fiegel and family of Omro.

Mr. and Mrs. Davel will make their home in Loyal.

The Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them best wishes and much happiness in the future.
