Ali, Coreen Ann (September 12, 1948 - September 5, 2005)

Coreen Ann Liebzeit-Ali, age 56, of Brookfield, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 5, 2005, at her home.

She was born September 12, 1948, in Marshfield to Anna and Arvin Liebzeit of Greenwood. Coreen was a graduate of Greenwood High School. Before continuing her education she joined the Peace Corp and served in Liberia, Africa. She received her degree in Social Work from the UW LaCrosse in 1975. On August 5, 1978 she married Fazle Ali in Minneapolis, MN. She was a dedicated mother to her two children, Shauncey and Afton Ali. Coreen was employed by the Tonawanda Elementary School as a Library Secretary and did volunteer work for the Elmbrook School District. She enjoyed taking care of her family, home and artistic pursuits.

Coreen is survived by her husband, Fazle Ali of Brookfield; her children, Shauncey and Afton Ali of Madison; her mother, Anna Liebzeit of Willard; siblings, LaVonne Liebzeit of Granton; Ellen (Alan) Vierthaler of Janesville; and Blaine (Lori) Liebzeit of Marathon. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Monoara Begum, of Bangladesh; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fazle (Benu) Kabir; Fazle (Ripa) Quayum; Fazle (Vicki) Ehsan and Dllara (Kamrul) Sultana.

She was predeceased by her father, Arvin Liebzeit and by her father-in-law, Abdul hai Akhand.

Funeral services were held at Brookfield, on Saturday, September 10. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
