Thomas A. Revord

Curtiss - Thomas A. Revord, 77, Curtiss, died Thursday at his home of an apparent heart attack. His wife found his body about 2:15 p.m. in a living room chair when she returned home from work.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, Wis. The Rev. Jeffery Johnson of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Curtiss, will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park in Racine.

Visitation at the funeral home will be after 4 p.m. Sunday.

Hew was born May 6, 1906 in Stephenson, Mich. to the late Mrs. and Mrs. Paul (Margaret Robitoy) Revord. He married Mabel Peterson in June of 1930; she died May 13, 1975. On July 31, 1976 he married Anita Dunow. She survives.

He operated a tavern in Stonebank from 1960-69 and from then until 1971 operated the Dug-Out Tavern in rural Thorp. In 1971 they moved to Curtiss, Wis. He was employed by J & J Security for Weathershield Corp.. in Medford until last June.

A former member of the Lions Club of Withee and Stonebank, Mr. Revord is also survived by a son, Thomas C. of Curtiss; three brothers, Lester of Florida, Norman of Eben, Mich., and Russell of St. Ignace, Mich; four sisters, Mrs. Angie Karahan of Hollywood, Fla, and Edna, Emma and Margaret, all of Michigan; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by a son, Raymond in 1947.
