Schulte Funeral

Colby - Services for Mrs. Cora Schulte, 79, Colby, were at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church here. Mrs. Schulte died Tuesday morning at Colonial House of Colby.

Officiating was the Rev. Robin O. Fink, pastor. Burial was in the Green Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harry and Arnold Strathman, Wayne Johnson, Duane Grube, Doug Johnson and Allen Nelson.

Schulte, Cora L. (12 Nov 1895 – 8 Apr 1975)

Cora Louisa Schulte, 79, Colby, died on Tuesday, April 8, 1975 at the Colonial Nursing Home in Colby. Services were held for Mrs. Schulte on Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. Robin Fink officiating. She was buried in Green Grove Cemetery.

Born on November 12, 1895 in Green Grove, Mrs. Schulte received her education in local schools and lived in the Colby area most of her life.

She married Otto Schulte at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Grove on December 30, 1913, and lived on a farm in the Town of Colby until retirement in 1957. She lived in Colby since that time.

Mrs. Schulte was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, had been a native member of the St. Paul’s Ladies Aid in past years, and a member of the Zion sewing circle.

Mrs. Schulte was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1969, one brother and five sisters.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ewert (Dorothy) Johnson, Unity, Mrs. Rueben (Ruth) Kademan, Marshfield, Audrey and home in Colby; three sisters, Mrs. K. H. Sampe, Pipestone, Minnesota, Mrs. George Gebhardt, Wauwatosa, Mrs. Stella Salter, Wisconsin Rapids; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Helen Meyers, Colby; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Harvey Strathman, Arnold Strathman, Duane Grube, Doug Johnson, Wayne Johnson and Allen Nelson.
