Luedtke, Kurt Bryan (October 25, 1964 - December 7, 2005)

Kurt Luedtke, age 41, of Neillsville, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005, in an automobile accident.

Kurt Bryan Luedtke was born on October 25, 1964, the son of Herman A and Ruby (Lenox) Luedtke in Neillsville, Wis. He attended school and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1983. He worked at the Neillsville Foundry while in High School. He then began working as a truck driver and he also worked for Russell’s of Neillsville, Wis. He was united in marriage to Margie Stern and they later divorced. Kurt enjoyed bow hunting, rifle hunting, Nascar racing and football games. He loved to fix mechanical things like tractors and other machinery. Kurt also loved spending time with his two sons.

Kurt is survived by his sons, Michael Allen, age two and Allen Brian, age five months. He is further survived by his mother, Ruby, of Neillsville; brothers: Herman (Lynn) Luedtke, of Fifield; William (JoDee) Luedtke, of Waterford; James (Karlene) Luedtke, of Marshfield; John (Denise) Luedtke, of Spring Lake Park, MN; Daniel (Cheryl) Luedtke, of Granton; sisters, Carol (Anthony) Gohde, of Columbia City, IN; Belinda (Darrld) Strigel, of Auburndale; Susan (James) Heck of Greenwood; Karen (Neal) Torkelson, of Beloit; Deborah (Carl) Holz, of Neilslville; and Louise Luedtke (Brandy Widmann), of Marshfield; 24 nieces and nephews and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Luedtke Sr.; and a niece, Tammy Luedtke.

A memorial service was held December 12, at the Gesche Funeral Home. The Very Reverend Father Woodrow Pace officiated.

Honorary casket bearers were Kurt’s brothers, Herman, William, James, John and Daniel Luedtke, Thomas Heck and Bernie Luedtke.

The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Kurt’s family with arrangements.
