Foemmel, Clara (Marriage - 5 Oct. 1936)

Miss Clara Foemmel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Foemmel was married to Herman Scheel, son of Mrs. Helene Scheel of Globe, at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5, at the William Foemmel home, Rev. William Baumann officiating. The bride was very attractive in a costume of brown crepe with three-quarter length top coat and accessories to match. Her flowers were a corsage bouquet of lilies of yellow and white mixture. The bridesmaid, Elda Foemmel, sister of the bride, wore a pretty gown of green crepe and a corsage bouquet of pink asters. The bridegroom and his attendant, Gayhardt Foemmel, brother of the bride, were dressed in dark suits and wore a carnation in their lapels. "Jesus Still Leads On," was played by Mrs. William Baumann at the piano.

A wedding dinner was served to 25 guests at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride, who has been employed in Chicago for the past four years, returned home last spring. She is a young lady of very pleasing personality and refinement, and highly regarded by a wide circle of friends. The groom is a young man of quiet, industrious habits and is engaged in the ice cream business at Ripon where they will make their home.
