Hoeft, Frances (Marriage - 16? Sept. 1936)

Baskets of mixed flowers, gladiolas and pink and white streamers decorated the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoeft, Lynn, for the marriage to their daughter, Frances, to Carl Drescher, Grant township, which took place, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The service was read by the Rev. Arthur Laesch, Granton. Miss Vivian Drescher, a cousin of the bridegroom, and Raymond Hoeft, a brother of the bride, were the couple’s only attendants. The bride’s gown was of wine-colored transparent velvet. She wore a wreath of apple blossoms in her hair and a shoulder corsage. Miss Drescher was dressed in a yellow suit crepe frock and wore a corsage similar to the bride’s.

A 6 o’clock dinner was served to a large group of relatives at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Drescher have left on a week’s wedding trip to Minnesota. On their return they will reside at the farm home of the bridegroom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Drescher.

Out-of-town relatives attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Emil Britenfeldt and daughters, Virginia and Geraldine, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Monicle and daughters, Anita and Helen, Mrs. Fred Monicke, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Monicke and daughters, Lucille and Ruth, son, Elroy, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mained and daughter, Bernice, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoeft and Mrs. Arthur Hoeft, all of Tigerton, Ernest Hoeft, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hoeft and Mrs. Ed Hacikbart and daughter, Marian, of Antigo; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lucht and family of Neillsville, Mrs. Ella Edwards, of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Drescher and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Drescher and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Drescher, Mr. and Mrs. Eisentraut, Mr. and Mrs. Gayhart, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Drescher, all of Ridge, and the Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Laesch of Granton.
